FAQs
How often should I get a facial?
70/80% is your homecare routine while 20/30% is getting treatments done with me. A good balance for facials is every 4-6 weeks.
What should I avoid before getting a facial?
To ensure the best results and avoid irritation before a facial,
avoid using active skincare ingredients (like retinoids, acids, or strong exfoliants) or other harsh skin treatments for 7 days prior. Do not wax, shave, or tan for 24–48 hours leading up to your appointment. Also, skip heavy makeup, excessive caffeine, and working out immediately before your appointment.

For the Advanced Facials, you must avoid everything listed above as well as picking, scrubbing, or pulling at peeling skin to prevent scarring. Dermalogica's peels have little to no peeling although these rules do apply if any is present. Avoid direct sun exposure and high heat (saunas, hot showers, intense workouts) for several days to weeks to keep your skin calm.

What other things do you do in the facial along with products?
LED light, steam and other handheld tools such as gua sha, ice globes, high frequency, etc can be added to any facial based on your skin needs and reactivity that day. The 90 mins will include more of these modalities and/or more massage based on our consultation.
